What are the effects of addictions?
Addictions can have a devastating effect on people where they can drain you of your time, happines, confidence, your health and in part your money and finances.
The effect on a persons personality more often than not leads to guilt, shame, lack of confidence and unhappiness.
What can you do about addressing addictions?
By speaking with a therapist and seeking out help can be a major start to creating change and asking for help in the first place.
What can I do to help you with your addictions?
In the first place I want to know your story and the reason I want to know that is to understand how you do your addiction in real life.
Secondly I want to help you change the way you do things and stop whats happening from starting again.
I don’t go over and over your story like some therapist who in a way retraumatise people.
I only want the key points for clues on how to help you change your behaviour into one that serves you.
How do I help you change your addictions?
I have more than hypnotherapy at my disposal and I have trained in a variety of modern psychological approaches that work as well as hypnosis.
For example symptom scrambling, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprosessing (EMDR), Mindfulness and Timeline Therapy can be very useful to help a person change.
Please be assured my approach is about finding solutions and helping you learn new ways to change your addictions and cope with any associated symptoms you may experience.
